Out-of-pocket expenses are included in Plus. The feature allows employees to register purchases made with their own money and manage the receipts and accounting information in the same place as company card expenses.
Activate out-of-pocket expenses
An administrator can activate the feature directly from the account:
Log in to Nordea.
Go to Price plan & billing.
Select Plans & add-ons.
Find Out-of-pocket expenses under Add-on features.
Click Activate.
If your company is on the Standard plan
Out-of-pocket expenses are included in Plus. If your company is currently on the Standard plan, you will be prompted to upgrade when you activate the feature.
Click Upgrade to Plus and follow the instructions on screen to complete the upgrade.

When the feature is activated
Once out-of-pocket expenses have been activated, employees can register purchases made with their own money and submit the expense together with the required receipt and accounting information.
Administrators can then review and manage submitted expenses from Reimbursement payout.
Important information about reimbursements
Nordea does not pay reimbursements directly to employees.
Approved out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed by the company, for example through:
The company’s payroll system
A manual bank transfer
The feature helps you collect and manage the supporting documentation and accounting information for out-of-pocket expenses.
