Under the Departments tab, you can manage and control user permissions in the system. Here, you determine which companies a specific person has access to. By assigning access at the company level, you ensure that each user only sees and works with the companies that are relevant to their role.
How it works
Under the Departments tab, you can:
Specify which companies the person should have access to
Update permissions when responsibilities change
Only administrators can change these settings, ensuring proper control and preventing unauthorized changes.
What the user sees
Users who have access to specific companies will only see those companies in their view. Companies they do not have access to will not appear in the company list or on their dashboard.
Users can also filter by different groups. For example, if clients are divided into one group for a specific type of customer and another group for other customers, the user can easily filter their view based on these groups to get a clearer and more structured overview.
Benefits
Limited visibility makes it easier to work efficiently. Instead of having to navigate through a long list containing all companies in the system, users only see the companies they are responsible for.
This:
Reduces clutter in the company list
Reduces the risk of working in the wrong company
Creates better focus and workflow
Improves security
By structuring access through Departments, you get a clearer overview and a more efficient working environment for the entire organization.
