Subscription cards are virtual business cards designed for subscriptions and other recurring online payments.
Unlike personal cards, a subscription card can be moved between users when needed. This is useful, for example, if an employee leaves the company but the subscriptions linked to their card need to remain active.
Important information about subscription cards
Subscription cards are virtual cards.
The card can be used for online payments.
The card cannot be used for physical in-store purchases.
The card cannot be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The card can be moved between users.
Subscription cards are therefore particularly useful for software, digital services and other recurring subscriptions.
Find your subscription cards
As an administrator, you can find the company's subscription cards by:
Go to Teams & Cards.
Select the Subscription cards tab.
Here you can see information such as the card label, card number, cardholder and monthly spend limit.
Order a subscription card
To order a new subscription card:
Go to Teams & Cards.
Select Subscription cards.
Click Order subscription card.
Enter a Card label, for example the name of the service or subscription.
Set a monthly spending limit if you want to limit how much can be spent with the card.
Select a Cardholder.
Click Order subscription card.
The card is created as a virtual card and can be used for subscriptions and other recurring online payments.
Convert an existing card to a subscription card
You can also convert an existing card into a subscription card. This can be useful if an employee is leaving the company but their card is being used for subscriptions that need to remain active.
To convert a card:
Go to Teams & Cards.
Select the user who has the card.
Open the card settings.
Select the option to convert the card to a subscription card.
Once the card has been converted, it can be moved to another user.
If the card is in a digital wallet
If an existing card has been added to Apple Pay or Google Pay, it must first be removed from the digital wallet before it can be converted into a subscription card.
