What does connecting your email inbox mean?
With Auto receipts, you can connect your Gmail or Outlook inbox to Nordea. Once connected, Nordea searches for receipts and automatically matches them to the correct transactions.
This reduces the need to search for and upload receipts manually.
Connect your email inbox on the web
Go to My expenses.
Click Connect inbox.
Select Connect Gmail or Connect Outlook.
Follow the instructions from your email provider and approve the connection.
Once connected, receipts can automatically be retrieved and matched to your transactions.
Connect your email inbox in the app
You can also connect your inbox directly in the Nordea app:
Go to Profile.
Select App settings.
Under Connected services, select Connect email.
Tap Connect email.
Select Gmail or Outlook.
Follow the instructions from your email provider and approve the connection.
Once connected, Nordea will automatically start matching receipts from your inbox to the correct transactions.
How it works
Once your email inbox is connected:
Nordea searches for emails containing receipts.
Receipts are matched to the correct transaction when a match can be identified.
Matched receipts are automatically added to the transaction.
You don't need to manually upload receipts that have been successfully matched.
If a receipt cannot be found or matched automatically, you can still add it manually.
Security and privacy
By connecting your email inbox, you consent to Nordea accessing and processing information that may include sensitive personal and financial data for the purpose of matching and managing receipts.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by disconnecting your email inbox.
Auto receipts is included in Plus
The option to connect your email inbox is part of Auto receipts and is included in the Plus plan.
